Snow, we got TONS of snow! The storm made the history books as Chicagos largest November snowfall in 120 years! In total, we got 11.2 inches (28 cm) of fluffy goodness. The snow is beautiful (I always love the snow when it arrives….but quickly start dreaming of living in California!). We enjoyed walking through our quiet neighborhood by bright nightfall. The good news is the snow should be gone by Wednesday which means… let’s make the most of it!
Saturday was less fun, we went downtown and to drive with the snowfall wasn’t easy. However, Sunday was brilliant. The temperature wasn’t too cold and with the brisk air I immediately felt refreshed.
We went to the Forest Preserve and saw a lot of cross country skiers… more gear I would love to have!
What about you, what do you like to do when it’s the snow season?
